2K a year HR Assistant Duties:
Receive and respond to basic HR questions from managers and employees regarding personnel practices, labor laws, health insurance, retirement, workers? compensation, recruiting, time off and training.
Interact with Department Directors and staff in implementation of Human Resources processes, procedures and functions.
Maintain and update current personnel files, HR database and records relating to grievances, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Assist with on boarding of new hires to include generating offer letters, inputting into HRIS database and scheduling for new hire orientation.
Answer phones and relay messages.
Maintain office equipment and order office supplies as needed.
Prepare and compile reports by assembling and analyzing data.
Assist with posting job ads, organizing resumes and ensuring background checks are completed.
Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
Assist with annual benefit open enrollment.
Update and maintain employee files, records and HR database.
Completes termination paperwork and assist with setting up exit interviews.
Processes all wage garnishments and levies on wages; responds to all written requests for verification of employment.
Performs secretarial duties, including typing, filing, faxing, and photocopying.
Prepares for orientation to include preparing packets, and materials.
Serve as the backup for the New Hire Orientation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
